the row F/W ’11.

Damn those twin babetown punks, as if being successful and hot isn’t enough, now they are churning out fashion gold season after season.

If The Row’s Fall/ Winter 2011 collection wasn’t one of the best I’d seen in a while I’d probably hate those Olsen witches.

la ville, la fille.

The clever cats at Bec & Bridge have just released their second offering for Winter 2011 and me likey, a lot. Of course I’m just a tad bias and I soon will be working with all the babes in B&B Land.

people more interesting than me: hedi slimane.

You know you are doing something right when you’ve headed up YSL and Dior, you’ve been wined & dined by the Gucci Group and Prada and you’ve been named International Designer of the Year by the Council of Fashion Designers of America. But all this is not even what I love most about Hedi Slimane, no it’s the Frenchies photography that really gets me going…..

new ellery.

Elleryland has been given one hell of a facelift with gap-toothed Texan bombshell Ashley Smith starring in Ellery’s F/W ’11 campaign. More here.

Paris Fashion Week looks even more beautiful through the eyes of Oliver Zahm. Click here for his totes exclusive coverage of all the shows, including Chanel F/W ’11.

friday.

This week has been crazy. No listen to me, I’m serious. Totally co-co-ba-na-nas. For example, my two love children (roommates) and I each had a horrible nights sleep on Monday night because of this crazy bad energy floating round within our paper thin walls, but then with some help of bunched up sage KAZAM it was gone. Hmm, what else. Oh strangers are being really nice to me & opening their doors (so to speak) in order to help me with my ongoing future ventures. I swear that’s not meant to be in code, I’m just trying to be mysterious ’cos I heard guys like that…..  And umm, okay so maybe I was being a tad dramatic five seconds ago when I said coco bananas, but anyway, this week has been weird, let’s leave it at that.

But who cares, it’s Friday! Here’s some happy snappies for you to ride all the way till home time. Taken from one of my ultra fav blogs AmberB and a recent find The Cowboy Geisha.

rodarte for opening ceremony.

I think we all know by now that I love me a good collaboration, but let’s be honest, who doesn’t? Nothing beats when two unstoppable forces come together and make something wonderful. With that in mind I am pleased as punch to share with you the latest offering from Opening Ceremony as part of their latest collaboration with fashion royalty Rodarte.

Muted colours, textured fabrics and paisley prints set the tone for the understated yet extremely wearable collection. Every piece is a must-have just waiting to burn a hole in my credit card. Check them out here but buyers beware, some pieces are already available for pre order. It’s a freaking death sentence, especially when you see the sunglasses.

wang.

Colombia & I have this little thing we like to call Wang Wednesdays that has lived on long after the days our working relationship ended. (Now it’s just an actual relationship, if ya know what I’m sayin).

Basically double dub day entales us sending each other a new & wonderful photos of Alexander Wang. What for? Umm I don’t know, maybe because he is the greatest designer on planet earth you numb skulls.

So in the spirit of Mr. Wang and all his glory, here is the ultimate Wednesday find. Beat that Isabel.

DIY.

The clever cats at Rag & Bone have just churned out this impressive little campaign for their Fall 2011 collection. Models Lily Aldridge, Abbey Lee, Edita Vilkeviciute and Sasha Pivovarova were thrown behind the steering wheel and asked to style, shoot & model themselves in two images each. All done on a humble digital camera the results speak for themselves….

blogs to blog about: claudio kirac

I can’t even tell you how I found this blog but god damn am I glad I did. Claudio Kirac’s CV runs longer than the extended version of all three Lord of the Rings and is even more impressive. Seriously hombres, it would probably take less time listing what Kirac hasn’t done rather than what he has.

As lovely as he is clever, Kirac makes a keen living as Art Director/ Photographer with Billabong and Von Zipper and is kind enough to share his wonderfully exciting life in the form of a pictorial adventure on his blog.

Scroll through the pages and you’ll find yourself dreaming of a Californian getaway and home-made waffles because the way he captures each moment is so indescribably familiar that you feel like you are almost there. But alas, you are not.

Take a look for yo’self kids, you won’t be dissapointed. Oh and I found a neat little interview on Pedestrian here too if you want to know more!
