Apologies for the tardy blogging, things have been all go-go-go with the Melbourne to Sydney move. Flying up for handover at camp Bec & Bridge & then straight back to M-town to pack & move. And now, D-Day has finally arrived and it’s time to jump in the car with Papa and road trip it North finally.

Side note: my money is on Sidney’s whorey mum making a comeback as the killer, eh ehhh?

We’d all drink Tecate’s and sit in old patio fold-out chairs with our feet in those plastic shell-shaped kiddie pools ‘cos it would be so hot outside. You’d find the PERFECT pair of worn out RM boots and I’d buy my brother ten new additions to his vinyl collection. Yikes on bikes, it’d be the best.

What does a girl gotta do to see Thom Yorke in person? I mean god dammit, I thought this was finally the year, Radiohead to headline Splendour in the Grass! But alas, I was wrong. They aint coming, and the top of my life’s to do list still remains unticked.

But the lineup has just been announced, and it’s pretty good. Far more vanilla than the batshit insane posse they brought in last year but still enticing in its own right. I have copied below the acts that I am most excited about but check out the rest of the list here.

As y’all should know by now, I’m scooting off to Sydney to start a new chapter North-Side with my sister from another mister KK. This is my last week working in the place I like to call the Indigo Batcave… it’s warm & full of love and I am going to miss being here terribly.

In an effort to appear professional I am in the process of deleting all my pictures/ emails/ bullshit that I have accumulated over the past 18 months so my replacement doesn’t think I was slacking off on the job. Hello, it’s called a lunch break.

Anyway, I am finding this task rather testing to say the least. Where do you draw the line between ‘keepers’ and ‘thrower-aways’? The emails are BY FAR the hardest to delete. Heart-felt ditties from my special someones that still give me goosies every time I read them. You may refer to this as ‘emotional cutting’ but give me a mother flippin’ break, I’m only human.
